Obituary

Morris E. Kisselbaugh, age 87 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab after a short illness. He was a Logan County native born December 28, 1929 to the late Eula Mae Fleming Kisselbaugh and George Jacob Kisselbaugh. He was a US Army Korean War veteran serving in the 58th Bridge Company, the assistant Chief of Police for the Russellville Police Department, and the Logan County Sheriff from 1978 to 1982, and served two terms as the Logan County Jailer before retiring. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and member of the American Legion Post 29. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Warren, Bowden and David Kisselbaugh; 2 sisters, Alma Rager and Joyce Kisselbaugh and one half brother, Bill Nash.
He is survived by:

Funeral Services for Morris E. Kisselbaugh will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Green Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Calvin Naylor officiating with burial to follow in Green Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until the service hour of 11:00 am.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
